Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ImmiGo collects, uses, shares, protects, and deletes your information.

1. Who We Are

ImmiGo is a case-tracking application operated by ImmiGo Solutions, a company incorporated in the United States. We help users monitor the status of immigration cases filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). ImmiGo is not a law firm. We do not give legal advice. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by USCIS or any government agency.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the data we need to run the app:

Account information: your name, email address, and login credentials. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from that provider.

Case data: the USCIS Receipt Numbers you add, any nickname you give a case, and the form type, processing center, current status, and status history that USCIS returns for those numbers.

Device and usage data: a device token used to send push notifications, your language choice, basic app interactions, and technical logs used for security and performance.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store geolocation data, financial or payment information, medical or health information, your phone contacts, biometric data, or copies of immigration documents. We do not ask for genetic or family-history information.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data only to:

retrieve and show the status of the cases you choose to track;

detect changes in case status and send you notifications;

operate, secure, and improve the app;

contact you about your account or service matters.

4. How We Share Data and With Whom

We share data only with the limited service providers needed to run the app. We name them here, and each one may use the data only to provide its service to us:

USCIS — your Receipt Numbers are sent to USCIS only to retrieve the matching case status, under the USCIS Terms of Use.
Cloud hosting and database provider — stores your account and case data so the app can work.
Push notification providers — Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) deliver notifications to your device.
Email provider — sends account emails such as verification and password reset.

All of these providers are bound by contract to protect your data and to follow practices consistent with this Policy. Third parties are not allowed to use or disclose your information — including de-identified, anonymized, or pseudonymized data — for any reason without your active consent.

5. De-identified and Anonymized Data

The current version of the app does not share de-identified, anonymized, or pseudonymized data with anyone. If, in the future, we produce aggregated statistics (for example, average processing trends), that data will be fully anonymized so it cannot be linked back to you, and we will update this Policy and ask for your active consent before doing so. Because aggregated data could, in theory, reveal patterns about groups of people, we commit to publishing only data that cannot identify any individual or family.

6. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, lease, or trade it. We do not exchange it for profit or any other monetary transaction, and we do not share it with marketers or advertisers.

7. Your Data-Sharing Choices

You choose which cases to add and whether to enable notifications. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app settings. Sharing a Receipt Number lets us show you that case status; if you do not add a case, we cannot track it. Adding a family member's case is your choice and should only be done if you are authorized to monitor it, since it reveals that person's case status to your account.

8. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard cryptographic protocols. Access to personal data is limited to authorized staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

9. Data Breach Notification

If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you without undue delay by email and, where appropriate, inside the app. The notice will describe what happened, what data was involved, and the steps you can take, such as changing your password or watching for suspicious activity.

10. Data Retention

We keep your account and case data only while your account is active. If your account stays inactive (dormant) for 24 months, we will email you and then delete the account and its data if you do not respond. When you ask us to delete your data, or when you delete your account, we permanently remove the associated data from our active systems within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep certain records longer.

11. How to Delete Your Data or Close Your Account

You can delete a single case inside the app at any time. To close your account and permanently delete all your data, go to Profile → Delete account, or email us at info@immigosolutions.com. We complete permanent deletion within 30 days of your request and confirm it by email. Closing your account removes your profile, your cases, and your notification history.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Access

— get a copy of the data we hold about you.

Correction

— fix data that is wrong or incomplete.

Deletion

— ask us to delete your data and account.

Portability

— receive your data in a machine-readable format.

Objection / Restriction

— object to or limit certain processing.

Withdraw consent

— withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on it.

California residents (CCPA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of regarding sales.

13. Children's Privacy

The app is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

14. Business Transfers

If ImmiGo is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the new owner. In that case, we will require the new owner to honor a privacy policy at least as protective as this one. If it cannot, we will give you the chance to download your data and to delete it before the transfer. We will notify you of any change of ownership.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. When we make material changes, we will ask for your active consent inside the app before the new version applies to you, and we will give you a short, plain-language summary of what changed. The "Last updated" date above will always show the current version.
